Family Fun

We can't believe how quickly time is flying!  Dan and I find ourselves sitting back and watching the kids play, giggle, and argue and just can't get over how big they are getting and how fast!!!  I would love to freeze these ages and enjoy them for a lifetime!  Callie is loving preschool and got her first progress report.  Overall, she did very well!  She enjoys "reading" us books and we love listening.  Daniel is standing up for himself and holding his ground more than ever before.  Although he's not talking yet, those big brown eyes speak a thousand words.  He is the most precious little boy and will make a great big brother in about 10 weeks (yikes, that's soon).  We are so happy to call these wonderful children ours and feel incredibly blessed this holiday season (and all year long)!

We took advantage of the warm weather we had before Thanksgiving and went to the Lights Before Christmas at the Zoo.  It was a great evening, as always!

There are dancing lights and Callie wanted to dance with her brother but he wouldn't have it :)
So, Graham and Callie danced it up!

Daniel is practicing his prayers at the dinner table ... precious!
Mom and Dad with all the grandchildren at Thanksgiving!  When you have them all lined up, it looks like so many kids!
Spending time at Imagination Station always = fun!
Aunt Tara let Callie feed Harper dinner and it was so cute to witness :)
Callie and Graham doing the wishbone with Nonnie Lindsay!
Dan even enjoyed himself at Imagination Station!
We took the kids to a Santa breakfast at Granite City and when Santa came to our table, Callie flew underneath!  It was hilarious!  She wouldn't come out until he was long gone!
Daniel didn't care too much for Santa Claus either!

Fall Fun, Continued...

A rare moment in the Kalo household!  Callie and Daniel watching a tv show, quietly :)
Having fun at Nonnie and Papa's house!
Callie LOVES holding her baby cousins!
Grandma and Aunt Annie's birthday celebration in Sandusky!
Both are in their 90's ... incredible!!!
Pumpkin carving time at the Junga's!
Megs wanted a picture of Oliver in the pumpkin.  It was hilarious but I felt so badly for the little guy!  He was sitting in a plastic bag inside the pumpkin and was okay with it at first, then started crying, finally he face planted right into the side of the pumpkin!  He will look back at these photos someday and laugh :)

 Cousins!
Nonnie and Papa with the kiddos!
Callie is reading Daniel a story ... I love when she does this!
 Mickey and Minnie mouse
She sure loves her little brother ... sometimes a bit too much in his mind :)
Ready to go trick or treating on the golf cart!

Little Boo at the Zoo and the Pumpkin Path

Natalie was in town from Florida and it was a beautiful day on Sunday so we headed to Mayberry Diner (our absolute most favorite breakfast place) and then hit up the Toledo Zoo!  The have something called Little Boo at the Zoo where kids can wear their costumes and go trick or treating along a pumpkin path throughout the whole zoo.  We also took a train ride which the kids, especially Daniel, loved!  The zoo was packed but a fun afternoon for sure!

We also found out this past week that baby #3 is a healthy little boy!  He's measuring on the larger side which may bump up my c section date if he continues to grow at this rate ... yikes!  Callie is excited it's a brother and Daniel doesn't know what's quite going on just yet!

Callie is loving Preschool to the fullest and wishes she could go every day!  I was able to pick her up this past week since I had the morning off for an appointment and it made my day to see her come running out of her classroom!  I can't wait to do it full time in February while I'm on maternity leave!  She loves to sing, dance, and put stickers on everyone and everything lately.  Daniel is beginning to run and climb on everything.  Such a little boy!  He loves to take our sliding door stopper stick or Dan's back scratcher and bang things ... my Dad calls him "Bam Bam!"  We are excited to celebrate Halloween and take the kids out trick or treating once more!  This is a fun, fun age that we are loving!!!!

Fall Fun

The kids had fun making Dan his birthday poster!

One sick little boy :(  He missed the pumpkin farm but rested up with Nonnie Kalo!
Callie and Graham in the pumpkin wagon!
Papa helped the kids feed the goats :)
 Oliver all bundled up!
Callie helping Graham get more food for the animals.  It was so funny!  She kept sticking her little hands all the way up the feeder machine to scrape out any extra food!  She sure wanted to get every cent worth ... a Kalo trait indeed!
This trike was darling ... so is the little girl on it ;)

It felt weird taking a family photo without Daniel but it was nice to spend some time with Callie.
Papa and Harper ... she didn't make a peep the whole time!
The Sullivan family!  This was Harper's first hayride :)
Cousin love!
