Myrtle Beach Memories

This beautiful ocean front home in Myrtle Beach was home for a week!  My entire family and all of our kiddos went and had so much fun!  The boys loved digging in the sand ALL DAY and riding their boogie boards, Callie loved looking for fish, riding the waves on her boogie board,  and sifting through the sand in search of shark teeth, Dan loved learning the game of bocce ball and drinking IPA's with the guys, and the gals just loved that we were all under one roof for a week making memories!  Life doesn't get much better than that!

Mid way through the week, we took the kids on an interactive pirate ship!  It was about the cutest thing I've ever seen!  They hoisted a pirate flag, learned pirate lingo, shot water canons at the pirates, looked at a map to find the treasure chest, found a sunken treasure, all shared the goodies inside, and drank pirate grog!  This experience wouldn't be complete without all of the pirate attire!  So precious and just PERFECT for this age!

A few more pics from our Father's Day fun!  Dan loves to visit the Toledo Zoo with the kids and win free Mud Hens tickets so that's just what we did!  I am glad my Dad was able to join in on the fun too!

We've been wanting to check out the new Playtime exhibit at the Toledo Museum of Art!  It was super cool and super fun!
They seem so small compared to the huge gallery and enormous pieces of art :)

This whole thing was made from a yarn like rope.  It was crazy fun!!

This exhibit was meant to make you feel as if you were truely touching the clouds as you swing ... neat-o!
All of the silver stuff hung from the ceiling and it was interactive so when you walked under certain spots, various sounds would click on.  It was a little eerie but toally cool!
