What a fun and eventful summer our family had! Our summer kicked off with the birth of our newest nephew, sweet little August! Then, our darling little niece, Marlowe, arrived in August and we were able to meet and visit with her in Chicago. Good thing there are babies being born into this family so I can get my little baby fixes that always creep up on me! One of my dearest friends bought the house next door and we had so much fun watching our kiddos play together this summer! Who would have ever thought we'd be neighbors someday?!? Our family did several day trips which the kiddos absolutely love! Finally, I have been blessed enough to get my same teaching position back after taking a one year leave, which is unheard of! Prayers were answered and I'm so grateful to be back at a school I love and teaching with co-workers that rock! Often times, I wonder what Dan and I did to be so blessed in so many aspects of our lives! I haven't posted since July because the school district had blocked the domain I use for this blog, due to security purposes, because I had a school email linked to it. After working with the tech team, we switched a few things around and we are up and running again!
Enjoying a walk at the "Volcano Park" with Will!
August and I :)
Callie's first playdate without Mom there :(
We took the ferry over to Put-In-Bay with Nonnie Kalo and had a fabulous day! We went up to Perry's Monument, rode around on the golf cart, shopped, rode the carousel, and enjoyed some ice cream! We had a beautiful day and a great time!!!
Callie and I scored this mirror for $10 and decided to give chalk painting a try!
I'd say it was a success!!
Crazy kiddos on the golf cart!
A pizza party with Grandma and Grandpa Abair and Aunt Sally too!
Playing at the Fallen Timbers mall after dinner!
All of these darling kids (11 to be exact) are from 3 of my best friends and I! We have been busy since graduating from Bowling Green :)
Adventures of the Kalo and Junga family! Meghan and I had a bright idea to rent a row boat while the boys fished. After about peeing our pants trying to row with three little kids, we decided to let the guys take over and we would watch :)
I cherished these little lunch dates with the Mills boys!
My friend, Jenny, invited us to spend the day at her lake house! Callie and Daniel had so much fun jumping off of the boat and tubing for the first time :)
My world!
Molly and Brad's wedding!!
Did she win?!? Callie doing a scratch off lottery ticket :)
My little buddy, Daniel, helping me mail back to school postcards to my class. He was so serious about his important job!
Callie had her adenoids out and tubes put in. This scene about breaks my heart but we are thankful it's over and the surgery was a success!
First day at the Children's Discovery Center! So happy that they love their time spent there!!
Free entertainment! Houses galore are going up in our neighborhood!
Should we be worried that Callie and Will are already doing secret selfies on my phone?!?
Callie on a recent fishing trip with Daddy!
A date she had earned on our behavior chart at home!
