Soakin' up Summer

How can you NOT love summertime!?  I feel like we have had so much fun and we are both LOVING the kids being the ages they are right now!  Is it possible to freeze them??  Callie is at a great age where she is incredibly helpful and wise beyond her years.  Sometimes Dan and I just look at each other and laugh after she says some of her grown up phrases!  Daniel is moving along nicely with his speech therapy and just started putting 2 words together which makes my heart so happy!  I love that he is on his way to communicating his wants and needs more effectively!  He loves to play outside, dig in mud, and play choo-choo's and hot wheels!  Luke is crawling and rolling all over the place!  He is the happiest little boy and is such a little gift from God!  Did I mention he is an awesome sleeper and eater too?!

 A nearby Metropark built a new playground area and we LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it!  It reminds me of something from Berenstain Bears!  We also visit this park about 2-3 times a week ;)  The kids would go everyday if they could!!

 A shopping trip at Meijer isn't complete until you've rode "Sandy" the horse!!

Mud Hens game for Will and Owen's birthday!!!  It was so fun to get the kids together for some fun!  I miss my college roomies and their kiddos so much!  Wish they lived closer :)

Our family loves collecting buckeyes at the park!  It's incredible to watch the kids have a blast opening the shells to get the buckeyes and the excitement that follows!  I could do it all day :)
